Currently under much needed renovations

We arrived to a building site that didn't look like it was ready for people to stay at. It was very noisy with builders and the place is in definite need of some major renovations. The bed was on wheels which was not great as it moved around a lot. There was no kitchen at all... just a mini fridge in the corner with a kettle on top.

But overall as a stop over one night stay before leaving ozzie it was suitable. Its right on the beach which is great and for the price it was ok. I'm sure when they have finished doing it up then it will be great.

Gold coast is always a great place to go!

Spacious rooms with all required amenities

Apartment needs renumbering. Number 18 is hidden behind the pool security gate and the 1 has fallen off. We could not see the number at all in the dark and were wandering around further down trying to locate our room. Did not think this was an apartment to start with but maybe a common room or storage area?? Toilet seat needed replacing as very worn. Shower takes a long time to warm up. Nice outlook over pool.

Convenient location very close to airport for first night's stay. On the bus route but not much to do in Bilinga and only a corner store for food. No restaurants or shopping.

Right on the beach and relatively conveniently located to caostal attractions.

This Motel is very basic, but on the upside, its right on the beach and a bus stop is very close - either into Surfers Paradise or to Coolangatta. Its quite close to Tugan shops and is quiet at night. The people are friendly and offer advice willingly about attractions etc.

Hey its the Gold Coast!! Bilinga is fairly much in the middle to southern end but is convenient. Taxis and buses travel frequently in either direction. Don't drink too much when out but enjoy the nightlife, shows, restaurants, beach walks. There is the Casino if you're feeling lucky. I do not advise swimming at dusk or in the night time, it is unsafe. You can enjoy a great swim during the day between the safety flags where the beach is monitored by life savers.

Behind the coast in the hinterland there are great places to see too, and some good bushwalking to do.

Very poor customer service

I was notified three and a half weeks before we were due to arrive that the hotel had changed hands and the new owners would be living in the three bedroom apartment so all previous bookings would not be honoured. I then had to search around trying to rebook similar accomodation in the same location as i had already organised other things.

The customer service at this motel was fabulous.

I was extreamly impressed by the fantastic service of the staff, clean unit/rooms & price was suitable for the budget. So good my family have booked 5 nights in another 2 weeks time. Highly reccomended.

Great place! Will go again any time!

THe 3brm ap/ment was brilliant. Spacious, clean and very comfy beds. Great views, and literally walk out the door to get onto the beach. Bit run down on the outside of the motel, but inside is fabulous! Two TVs, two lounge rooms, fireplace, bar, kitchen, two bathrooms, the main had a spa bath for two, double shower and double vanity. Yes there were a few minor things you could quibble over, but it's listed as a two to three star place.

So you can't complain over the quality for money that we got. It also had two single beds, two queens, a double and a double airbed as well! Took the two kids (under two years of age) and we had a ball! Would go again any time and may make it a regular annual event.

Visited Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Great place for kids and adults. Wished we could have had more time to see it from beginning to end!

worse place to stay

Moldy walls and ceilings, sand in bed sheets, room had a very bad smell. Could not stay in room with out gaging from the smell. Would never reccomend this place me and the kids rather would of stayed over night at the airport on chairs then this revolting place.

Things to do cause the room stunk. Went to wildlife world.

Lovely spot, right on the beach

Stayed in room 4 - right on beachfront, with own cabana, table & chairs. Comfortable and relaxing right on the beachfront - you couldn't ask for a better location. Air conditioning, queen bed and ensuite. Very quiet and private.

Patrolled beach on your doorstep.

2 minutes from airport.

Short drive or 10 minute walk to Tumut local shops and restaurants.

Coolangatta 5 minutes drive south - great restaurants, shopping and beach.

Half hour drive to Surfer's Paradise for unbelieveable shopping, beaches and atmosphere.
