Apartment has good potential if owner would be willing to spend a couple of $k

Overall the complex is fantastic for families, it is close to everything and has great onsite facilities for families. Our apartment was not clean. Within an hour of being there the soles of my feet were black, my husband and I took to wearing shoes around all week. The dishwasher was sooo old it didn't clean anything. There was a buildup of cigarette butts behind the a/c unit on the balcony. The cupboard where the hot water system and ironing board, vacuum etc.

Was disgusting and the doors did not shut properly, making it difficult to keep an inquisitive 18 month old out of them. I used the vacuum before we left and it was useless. All in all if the apartment had a good spring clean, the dishwasher and vacuum replaced & some new doors it would have made our stay a whole lot better.

Burleigh Heads is fantastic, it is close to everything.
