Being a family of 6 wanting to make our humble budget stretch as far as possible, accomodation was one area where we had to keep the cost down. We knew that potentially this meant we were risking a bad living environment, but it was just going to be a base, not where we spent a lot of time. We were so pleasantly surprised to find a very clean, well tendered, apartment, across the road from a popluar stretch of the beach, with features to please the kids and make us all comfortable.
Service is very friendly and helpful but only 4 star, which is where you save the money, keep that in mind and you will be extremely happy. As were we.
Burleigh Heads is fairly central to most things but far enough away from the hussle and bustle that you can relax and take it easy. We have no qualms in recommending this area for a family visiting the gold coast and the theme parks.
