Even though both of us were still dealing with illness at the time of our stay (celebrating our wedding anniversary!),the ambience of Penny Ridge helped to make up for that. The setting and the views from the bungalow are superb-unlike anything we'd see at home (we are from South Australia, holidaying in Qu. With family). Hearing over half a dozen different frogs calling at night was a rare experience, and, being nature lovers, we had a stroll through the 'orchard' area which was a delight.
The staff, specifically Helen and Nigel, were VERY welcoming. Every effort was made to make our visit a happy one. Highly commended, AND we'll be telling our friends.
Beautiful area. Even the drive to Penny's Ridge was great as we hadn't visited that area before.
