Probably not worthwhile...

We stayed in a deluxe spa suite midweek, and were the only ones in all their rooms available. We were unaware that Tuesday on Mt Tamborine is a "closed" day for a lot of local businesses, including the restaurant at Cedar Creek lodges. Unfortunately, a couple of hours after check-in, we were also advised that the Restaurant coiuld not offer the hot breakfast included in out package due to unforseen circumstances (or the fact that we were the only boarders and it wasn't viable to cook for only us...???). At least we were offered a refund of breakfast portion so we could seek alternatives. They did offer some altenatives in town that were excellent.

When we came to fill the spa later that night, we were extremely disappointed to find that the cold water tap was broken, and in order to have a bath at reasonable temperature, needed to add cold water from the hand sink via bowls from the kitchenette.

Overall a disappointing venue experience for our 20th anniversary.

We were referred to Clancy's Irish Bar for dinner and Splice of Life Cafe for breakfast. Both venues were outstanding. The bar serves great meals in a small and comfortable atmosphere, and the food was absolutely fantastic. Splice of Life was a small cafe in main street and once again was a comfortable relaxed atmosphere with excellent food quality. Highly recommend both venues to others.

Book Cedar Creek Lodges, or Hinterland Accommodation and Hotels.
